Every motorcycle here was provided by San Diego Vintage Indian Motorcycle shop. The photographs were taken by Debra Chmelina. If you have a motorcycle enthusiast in your circle of friends or family, consider buying them a greeting card or poster of one of these bikes next time they have a birthday or celebration. All these images can be printed to the highest quality available. Just go to PRINTS/GICLEES and search through the pages or type in motorcycle in SEARCH. When you find the image click on it and you will see all the combinations of sizes, framing and price.

People always tell me how they can't stress enough how a motorcycle rider should have protection. Of course a motorcycle helmet is the first and foremost protection but there are other things to take into consideration. Wear a jacket and gloves for protection from road rash that is make of a durable strong fabric. Motorcycle Racers use armored gear for their protection. Gloves provide protection as well as warmth and should be well padded. Protection for your feet and lower body can be worn in combination with reinforced pant or jeans and shin guards. Pant styles range from touring and dual purpose to sporty and casual. There are neck support devices that can add to your protection off road but could hinder your visibility as you may not be able to turn your head in all directions as well. Also ear plugs add protection from wind noise as well as damage to your ears while riding a motorcycle. There are laws regarding ear plugs so check the laws in the states you'll be traveling in about ear protection. Even though motorcycle helmets usually have a plastic shield for protection some motorcycle riders wear separate protection with polarized goggles or glasses. If you have a windshield on your motorcycle as in the ones in my gallery, then you will have even more protection. So enjoy the great outdoors on your bike, but don't forget to protect yourself and your partner.
